T did not really enjoy the snow
And Kaylie isn't really loving it either
George and Cissy came over on Valentine's evening to watch the girls so Neale and I could go eat sushi for dinner. We appreciate it. We don't get many date nights.
Life is amazing....every day brings something new and we couldn't be happier.

Kaylie is walking a good bit (when she feels like it). The girls have said Dada, Mama, Sissy, Sit (which sounds like something else), Hi, Hey, Doggie, and several other words they will say that just surprise me. They are really developing a vocabulary. What are they up to? They clap, love to give kisses and hugs, Kaylie shakes her head no, Taylor has started "reading" books out loud, Taylor is almost ready to walk, they both love to be upside down...especially Kaylie...she giggles her little head off. They are almost able to turn off the lights and Taylor can shut the pantry door. I walk around carrying one baby in each arm so I often don't have a free arm to turn off lights or shut doors....(I usually use my toes/feet to pull doorknobs to shut doors and my elbow to turn out lights) but I am about to have some helpers. The girls have almost got it down pat. The thing I find the sweetest is that if I say "Go kiss sissy" they know exactly what that means. They go over to each other and put their foreheads together and kiss or hug and they just smile at each other and giggle. It just melts my heart. Before they go to bed every night they give each other kisses too.

life in the hopital. People often tell me that I must be Superwoman to work as much as I do and have twins. Believe me....Shannon is much more deserving of that nickname. She told me one of her favorite sayings (she believes it was Mother Teresa who said it) is that God won't give us more than we can handle. I believe she is right.

It snowed Friday night!!! It was completely gone by noon Saturday but we were excited. It never snows here. The girls got to go out in the snow. They were okay if we were holding them or holding their hands but they weren't too sure what to think of it. Taylor was a little scared and wanted to go back inside. She needs a lot of TLC.

Saturday we went to Daniel Island, SC to visit my childhood friend (Shannon) and her husband (Elias) and daughter (Maia). I took some photos of their family and we stayed and had lunch with them and then headed for home. It was great to see Shannon and to catch up. Some of my best childhood memories were made with her (and yes I did take tons of photos even then but they are much too embarrassing to upload). Baby Maia was born with a heart defect, HLHS, and has already had to have a couple surgeries on her heart. She has spent a good portion of her
