It has been busy here! The girls are full of energy and giggles these days. Today we went to the zoo for the first time. The girls were both quiet. I think they were amazed by all of the animals. Kaylie enjoyed it and Taylor was scared of all the animals. If you got her too close to them she would scream and cry "NO! NO! NO! NO!.......
Yesterday the girls got their hair cut. Kaylie sat in the chair all by herself and was a big girl. She seemed to enjoy it. Taylor sat on my lap and cried a bit. She settled down when they gave her a book to read but she wasn't a big fan of it. At the end though it was so cute because the hairstylist put her hair up in a fancy hairstyle and then turned her around to see herself in the mirror and Taylor's face just lit up! She got the shy little smile she gets. It was priceless.

It's Been A While

I will post more photos this weekend. Sorry it has been a while! Neale and I went to Key West for vacation and had a good time. It was nice to be away from work but I was happy to come home to my babies! They are hilarious these days. They talk and talk. Tonight they had a giggle party on the way home from daycare. I have never seen them so giggly and loud. They have really started taking an interest in their baby dolls and stuffed animals. They carry their baby dolls around and hug and kiss them. They each have a little blanket with an animal head on it that they sleep with and they are becoming very attached to them. Taylor 's is froggy and Kaylie's is puppy and another one that she switches back and forth between. They are still big fans of being "beautiful". I have discovered that I can get them to wear hairbows or hats if I tell them how beautiful they are. They get so excited. I say the alphabet to them letter by letter and they repeat each letter after me. They sound so cute saying it. "K" is "Key" and "Q" is "Coo". They still call each other "T" and "Kiki". More to come this weekend.

We Loved Halloween - Strawberry Shortcake and Tinkerbell

What cha doing sissy?

Taylor wouldn't wear the hat but with those cute curls it still looked precious

Tinkerbell with her candy

Look what I got mama

We went to our friend's neighborhood for Halloween. Taylor dressed up as Strawberry Shortcake and Kaylie was Tinkerbell. I didn't think the girls would enjoy trick-or-treating because they are usually very shy when they meet people. They loved it! We put on costumes which went surprisingly well. I have learned that they love to hear that they are beautiful so I told them they were beautiful when I put their costumes on and they got all excited and you could just see the sparkles in their eyes. So they were happy to wear their costumes except for Taylor's hat. Our friends had a neighborhood party and there were kids running around everywhere. Kaylie and Taylor just watched all the kids. I told Taylor she could go over and play with them. She started to walk over there and got pretty close to the other kids but then just stopped and watched them all. Kaylie was amazed by a leaf in the street. I realized I really need to get the girls outside more! We took the girls to about 10 houses to go trick -or-treating. They are shy so I thought they would cry. Not the case! Taylor walked right up in front of the other kids to try to be first at the door. They loved getting candy in their pumpkins. They thought that was pretty cool! Of course we didn't let them eat any of it (but Daddy did) but they were happy just to hold it and take it all out of their pumpkins and put it back in. Taylor cried her little eyes out when it was time to go home. We all had a great time.
